Pilgrims toward Trondheim

The Norwegian town of Trondheim, which will host the 12th Assembly of the Conference of European Churches, has been for centuries a place of pilgrimage. And we would like to think of our Assembly preparation as a pilgrimage: European churches walking towards Trondheim, reflecting on the Assembly theme "Jesus Christ heals and reconciles – our witness in Europe", bringing their concerns, and praying for the Assembly.

We would like to encourage Christian congregations throughout Europe to pray for the Assembly, both before and during it. In this section we will propose some texts from "Gloria Deo – Prayer and Hymn Book for the 12th CEC Assembly". The book is currently being finalized by the Assembly Worship Group, bringing together 10 persons, male and female, coming from different European countries and churches.

Feel free to use these resources.
