Walking

Trondheim is a small and beautiful city. We pride ourselves in offering you a ‘compact’ conference; which means that from the majority of hotels you can reach the other hotels and the Assembly venue on foot. Walking from Radisson SAS Royal Garden Hotel, which is in one end of the city center, and Trondheim Spektrum, in the opposite end, takes about 15 to 20 minutes. So if the weather permits, it’s just a refreshing start of the day.

About accommodation

Trondheim and it's surrounding areas have approximately 30 hotels and more than 2000 good quality hotel rooms. More than 1200 of these are situated in the small city center of Trondheim. For major events, like the CEC Assembly, several hotels work intimately with CEC Host Committee and Tvete Arrangement, which is given the task to handle the reservations.

In addition to regular hotels, CEC uses a few alternate lodging facilities. Trondheim is in national comparison a large university city, and there are long traditions in using student lodging houses for the visitors to events taking place during the university vacation period.
